Volunteer

Cora is studying Speech Sciences at UBC, and hopes to continue her studies in the Masters of Speech-Language Pathology program upon completing her Bachelor’s Degree. She is passionate about helping those with communication difficulties experience their lives to the fullest, and has experience working with individuals with ASD, Down Syndrome, and various forms of dementia. She also volunteers for the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association's BC Youth Peer Support Program, where she creates resources to support deaf and hard-of-hearing youth in navigating their communication challenges. 

Cora is a certified ISTD Modern Dance, IBBFA Barre Fitness and High Fitness instructor and currently teaches at UBC Recreation. In her spare time, you can find her either in the studio or the gym!
