Speech-Language Pathologist

Florence Kwok completed her Speech and Hearing Sciences studies at the University of Hong Kong. She also completed a post-graduate Master's in counselling at the University of Hong Kong and a Master’s degree in Health Leadership and Policy (major in clinical education) at the University of British Columbia.

 

Florence is a certified member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) and is a registered member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.

Throughout her clinical practice since 2007 in Hong Kong, she has experience with clients with Developmental Language Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, speech disorders and delays, stuttering, voice disorders and difficulty in feeding. Florence loves to work with children and has extensive experience with preschool and school-age populations. She offers services in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

 

Florence had received training in Floortime ® and SCERTS and she believes a family-centered, relationship-based approach would facilitate the best learning outcome for clients. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking and exploring nature with her two boys.
