Michelle was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and obtained her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of British Columbia. She has experience working in schools and in private clinics after graduation. She has worked with a variety of children with complex needs using AAC, as well as children with language delays, speech sound disorders, learning disabilities, autism, and stuttering. She also has previous practicum experience working with adults with aphasia and training communication partners.
Being at Advantage SLP enables Michelle to work directly with families to reach their goals, collaborate together with clients’ best interests in mind and be part of an amazing team of professionals. Each client has a unique story, and it is a true privilege for Michelle to take part in their journeys. Michelle looks forward to collaborating with families to make therapy fun, meaningful and effective for clients of all ages.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking, playing badminton, and going on foodie adventures.
