Nicole is a Speech Science student at the University of British Columbia, minoring in Applied Animal Biology. She is passionate about communication, creative expression, mental health, and animal welfare. Beyond classes, she is involved in clubs and works part-time as a Research Assistant at the UBC Interdisciplinary Speech Research Lab, a Youth Education Coordinator at the BC SPCA, and a self-employed Behaviour Interventionist.

Nicole has ambitions to pursue a Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology or Public Health, but also hopes to include her love for animals in some capacity.

In her free time, she can be found playing with her dogs, writing slam poetry, singing karaoke, or playing board games and drinking bubble tea with friends!
