Sonia is a graduate of the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences at the University of British Columbia. 

 

Through her prior experiences, Sonia has had opportunities to work with a wide variety of populations, ranging from preschool-aged to seniors. She has clinical experience working with children with language delays, speech sound disorders, autism, and stuttering, as well as children with complex needs using AAC devices. Sonia also has clinical experience assessing and treating patients with dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, and apraxia. She is passionate about working with bi- and multi-linguals, and strongly believes in working directly with clients and their families to collaborate to provide therapy that is best suited to the client's abilities and needs. She looks forward to providing enjoyable and individualized therapy sessions to clients of all ages. 

 

Sonia offers services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia, and is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. In her spare time, Sonia enjoys baking, going to the gym, playing with her dog, and trying new restaurants around the city.
