Victoria is a Registered Speech and Language Pathologist by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) and a member of Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC). She received her Masters of Science from the University of British Columbia in 2020. Through her clinical practicums, Victoria has worked in various clinical settings including, private practice, schools, acute care, and community rehabilitation clinics. During this time, she gained experience working with children and adults with a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Victoria is a caring and compassionate clinician who values a child-led and play-based therapy approach as she believes that learning should be fun and interactive for all children. She is passionate about working with individuals from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds and strives to ensure therapy outcomes are always functional and meaningful.
Her areas of clinical interest include early intervention, autism spectrum disorders, fluency, and feeding and swallowing disorders. Victoria is currently completing her advanced training in Feed the Peds, a comprehensive program focused in assessing and treating feeding and swallowing disorders in the pediatric population.
Victoria is bilingual in English and Cantonese, and moderately fluent in Mandarin. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing tennis and badminton, and hosting board game nights with her friends and family.
