Advantage SLP is looking for one more SLP to join our team ! At first, the position would be part-time, but it could grow into a full-time position.

We are a private practice based out of Richmond, BC. Our large team of speech-language pathologists, assistants and volunteers provide adult and pediatric services across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. We also see many clients via teletherapy.

Duties include:

The current opening is for a speech-language pathologist with primary expertise in pediatric assessment and treatment. Eligibility for the Registry of Autism Service Providers is an asset, as is the willingness to travel into clients' homes or facilities. Most clients are seen at this time in our Richmond office or via teletherapy.

Preference will be given to candidates who also have adult experience, particular in the areas of traumatic brain injury or aphasia. Services will be provided in clients’ homes or schools, or in private clinic settings. Our clinic is located in the beautiful Steveston area of Richmond.

Please feel free to apply even if you have another position and are looking to supplement this with a few private clients. There is a possibility of medical/dental benefits once the successful candidate reaches 20 hours/week.

*** Our greatest need at this time is for someone who has access to a vehicle, who can see clients after school or on the weekends, AND who is eligible for the Registry of Autism Service Providers.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
Must be comfortable working independently in the community.
Flexibility of scheduling, with preference given to candidates who can see children after school or on weekends.
Vehicle may be required for some clients.
