Cassidy_Bio

Volunteer

Cassidy is currently studying Speech Sciences and Language Learning and Teaching at UBC. She would like to pursue a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Cassidy has previously worked with preschool-aged children, children and teenagers on the Autism spectrum, and children with language delays while working or volunteering in daycares, summer camps or classes, and one-on-one sessions. She has enjoyed assisting with infant language development studies as well as with Aphasia programs through the Stroke Recovery Association of BC. Cassidy’s creativity and warm personality have lead to great rapport with her clients.

She enjoys travelling and is hoping to once again spend a summer eating too much gelato while working at English immersion summer camps in various Italian regions.
