Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Cindy recently graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Cognitive Systems, focusing on linguistics.

 

She first got into speech and language through teaching choir and English as a second language to seniors, and now tutors English and math for students in grades 1-12 with learning differences. Over time, she became especially interested in autism, phonology, and pragmatics, and enjoys exploring the many ways people communicate and connect. Having attended speech therapy as a child, she appreciates how much compassionate support can boost a person’s confidence.

 

In her free time, Cindy can often be found working on music projects, practicing languages, or listening to Pink Floyd on repeat.
