Speech-Language Pathologist

 

Lena has recently completed her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of British Columbia. 

 

Through her previous experiences, Lena has worked with children and adults of a wide range of ages with a wide range of communication needs. Her focus is on supporting clients with phonological and speech sound disorders, language disorders, literacy delays, and stuttering. She is also experienced in assessing and treating swallowing and communication needs for adults with dysphagia, aphasia, and dysarthria. Drawing on her experience with autistic clients and clients with ADHD, Lena is passionate about ensuring her therapy sessions are individualized and neuro-affirming. Lena values building meaningful connections with clients and families to create a strong therapeutic relationship. 

 

In her spare time, Lena enjoys hiking, reading, and playing music.

 

Lena offers services in English and French.
