Speech-Language Pathologist
Roujan (pronounced like row-jhan) approaches therapy from a holistic perspective, grounded in the belief that communication is deeply tied to identity, connection, and quality of life. She integrates creativity into her clinical practice and values collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Her ultimate goal is to empower each individual to participate meaningfully and confidently in their daily environments.
She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and has a background in linguistics and visual arts, which informs her flexible, imaginative, and client-centered approach to treatment. Her breadth of clinical experience spans both pediatric and adult populations. She has supported children with speech sound disorders, language and literacy-related goals, as well as adults navigating communication changes following stroke, brain injury or dementia, including: aphasia, motor speech disorders, and cognitive-communication impairments. She is also experienced in supporting individuals with Parkinson’s disease and is trained in SPEAK OUT! and LOUD Crowd interventions.
Roujan is accepting clients right now. She provides therapy mainly in English, and is happy to chat with your family in Farsi if needed.
In her free time she likes making art and exploring all the beauty that Vancouver has to offer.
