Speech-Language Pathology
Hi, I’m Sherouk! I completed my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of British Columbia. My clinical experience spans community health, private practice, hospital outpatient and inpatient clinics, early intervention, and disability-support settings. I’ve worked with children from infancy through adolescence with needs in language, speech sounds, social communication, fluency, AAC, and early literacy.
My paediatric background includes supporting children with developmental language disorder, late language emergence, articulation and phonological delays, and childhood apraxia of speech. I have also supported adults in expressive and receptive language, cognitive-communication, voice, and social communication.
I value evidence-based practice and love working collaboratively with families to build meaningful, functional skills. My approach is warm, playful, and strengths-based—I prioritise culturally responsive care and focus on what communication means for each child and family.
